The A2 filter is an excellent product that offers respiratory protection against inorganic gases and vapours, organic gases and vapours with a boiling point over 65 ºC, sulphur dioxide and other acid gases and vapours and ammonia and ammonia derivatives. It is a filter with a bayonet connection, compatible for use with Futura and Medop Air II half masks.

The A2 filter has an A2 marking, as indicated in the name, and is characterised by the following:
- Manufactured with high-resistance materials that do not produce noxious effects to the user’s health and hygiene.
- It is designed to offer excellent protection against: organic gases and vapours with a boiling point higher than 65 ºC.
- Weighs 87 grams.
- Category 3.
- Bayonet connection.
- Can be used with Medop Futura and Futura Black half masks.
- Filter for gases and vapours, level of use: 2, limit value 5000 ppm; 0.5% volume.
- A2 marking.
Given its characteristics, this filter can be used in jobs that use solvents, paint, lacquers, wood preservatives, resins and polyester. Do not use in atmospheres with less than 17% oxygen content volume, nor in explosive atmospheres.
